The KISS Army

There are a couple of other housemates that it is worth mentioning at this point.

Firstly, Mr. Keith Coleman - Yes, its everyone's favourite Irishman, Keith! Keith, as well as being Irish, is an avid KISS fan and once appeared in the critically aclaimed KISS tribute band, The Crazy Knights.

(Above) Look! Here's Keith, the lovable little scamp!

Secondly, Mark. Mark is... Er, well that's all that needs saying really.

GENE SIMMONS FACT FILE:

Did you know that contary to popular belief, Gene's famous look (the post-modern-panda-coming-back-from-the-pub-whilst-chewing-a-giant-pink-slug look) is not achieved using make up? Gene's black and white skin is actually the result of a boating accident when he was a boy.

About the Authors

A short break from the Great Rocking One to tell you about Mike and myself, the authors of this fine website.

Michael Gazzard was born in Bristol in 1985 at a KISS concert. "It was amazing," said Mike's father, Alan. "There we were rocking out when suddenly my wife says, 'I think the baby's coming!' It was just lucky that we were at the gig and not somewhere else because [then] drummer Eric Carr trained as a doctor before joining the band and so was able to deliever Mikey. The rest of the band carried on rocking away whilst Eric came and helped us, and then when Mikey had been born they played a special rock version of 'Hush Little, Baby'!"

Ever since then Mike has been a loyal follower of the band, collecting all their albums and merchandise, including the exclusive limited edition KISS nasal grooming kit. Mike once came second in a Gene Simmons look-a-like competition and hopes one day to meet the great man himself.

Matt Underwood was born in Taunton in 1986. After his parents were killed in a car crash when he was a baby, Matt lived wild in the New Forest where he was raised by ponies. It was here that he was first introduced to the music of KISS, when he was found by a hiker who happened to be listening to the band's music on his wakeman. It was only after playing the music to a young Matt that the man managed to persuade him to come out of hiding and leave the forest. Matt is often heard to joke, "Thank God he was listening to KISS and not the Beach Boys, otherwise I'd probably still be living in the forest!"
